Day 92: I know, I know! I have not written a post in a long time. It all started a couple weeks back when I was feeling just blah. Then the boys were blah. There was just a whole lot of blah going around. I did however post my pictures to Facebook. So, I am not a complete failure for this whole 365 project. Today was a great day. It was my first official day of SPRING BREAK. NINE whole days without having to deal with 6th graders and their craziness. Anyways.
My stepdad has a horse that he keeps at my grandma's house, who lives literally two blocks from us. He went riding today and on the way back he stopped by our house on the horse to show Hunter. Frank made Tony get on the horse. It was hilarious. Tony has never been on a horse other than a carousel at Disneyland. In my mind I was hoping that the horse would just take off like lightning. That didn't happen. But, it was still pretty funny. What was even funnier was Tony trying on Frank's cowboy that was about 5 sizes too small. Hunter was in the background saying "Woohoo Cowboy!" Priceless. Hunter liked the horse but didn't want to get on it.
Yesterday, I got my new floor drops and backdrops in. However, BIG problem. They were ripped. But since I really wanted to test them out I had to use them wisely and in a small area. They are 5x8 feet and I had to essentially cut that space in half. I do LOVE them though. I decided to test them out with Landon. My mom found one of my grandpa's old hard suitcases. It is AWESOME. The second suitcase I got at a thrift store for 4 bucks and the third one I got at Ross.
Last, but certainly not least...Hunter. Tony found this cool park literally three minutes from our house. We took the boys there. Tony said it wasn't busy. WRONG!!! It was today. Baseball/Softball games were going on. No big deal though. Hunter had a blast going on the slides and playing with the pirate ship. He is a typical boy. He didn't want to leave. While he was playing Landon and I ran a lap with the stroller around the park. It has a nice jogging trail.
I love that park! I've taken my sis's two little ones there a few times. We live in Sky Country and it's about 10 walking minutes from our house. I take our dog on walks/jogs too :)
